AT THE COLISEUM
With the upcoming holiday season approaching, the S.H.A.K.E. Event Center, located within the Historic Coliseum Building, is open to host your organization’s meeting and social gatherings. With spaces for board and leadership meetings, team building and thank you dinners, we’ve got you covered. Imagine festive tables surrounded by food sampling stations. We can help curate a warm, hospitable atmosphere that both welcomes the members of your team, while meeting your conference and social event needs. Listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, the Historic Coliseum Building was restored after the 2020 uprisings to serve the Longfellow neighborhood. As a Black and Woman Owned entity, we offer the opportunity for you to be a part of our BIPOC ecosystem of small business creatives. This 85,000 square foot building houses a permanent art collection of protest art boards as well as home to the new restaurant Lagniappe and the Du Nord Cocktail Room.
