The Ward 9 Office cordially invites you to their upcoming Lake and Minnehaha Safety Coalition meeting. Their aim is to strengthen connections within our communities by fostering open conversations and sharing valuable resources.

Council Member Chavez, along with The City of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, our stakeholders, and community members, is committed to enhancing the safety and well-being of Ward 9, including the Longfellow neighborhood. They’ve heard from residents that there is a strong interest in topics such as housing responses, health initiatives, and addressing issues like lighting and trash in relation to safety procedures beyond 911 and 311.

During this meeting, representatives from the city, county, and various stakeholders will provide updates and share resources. The will also reserve time for Longfellow community members to ask questions and offer feedback.

Your insights and participation are appreciated to their ongoing efforts to address the challenges facing the Ward 9 community.
