Welcome to S.H.A.K.E.!

We are a black and women owned co-working office and conferencing event center located on the second floor of the Historic Coliseum Building in Minneapolis.

Our vision is to curate spaces that enable BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) entrepreneurs and professionals to work with others in a community that is supportive and empowers business from underrepresented communities to grow and thrive.

While the S.H.A.K.E. co-working office and conferencing event center is set to target BIPOC entrepreneurs and professionals, it is intended to create a supportive, warm, welcoming environment to anyone and everyone who share values of service, honesty, adaptability and kindness to create positive experiences for all.

S.H.A.K.E. provides upscale and affordable spaces for working, meeting and gathering that are currently not available within the Longfellow neighborhood. These spaces are available for 4 hour or daily rentals ranging from 4 - 200 person capacity which include five conference rooms, the Dr. Reatha Clark King Learning Lab, the Dr. Josie R. Johnson Event Center, and a large gathering space.  With easy access to the light rail and rapid bus, tenants and guests  have access to amenities for lactation, meditation and wudu, indoor bike storage and shower facilities.
